About Our Founder
Eric Brownson graduated from the University of Vermont in the charming town of Burlington, VT, in 1988, with a degree in Mathematics. Having a passion for construction, he quickly went on to start his first construction company the summer after graduation. By the end of 1988, he decided to make a location change and moved to Breckenridge, CO. There he picked up a job as a ski instructor, while also working as a carpenter and framer for a number of different local companies in the area. In 1992, he decided that it was time to go out on his own again. By the spring of 1993, he incorporated Sweet Homes of Colorado Inc. with his business partner at the time, Evan Wasserman.
Sweet Homes of Colorado Inc progressed quickly from a framing and siding contractor to a full service general contractor. By the early 2000’s Evan and Eric were general contracting homes for some of Colorado’s finest architects.
Evan left the company a few years later to pursue other interests while Eric Continued to develop Sweet Homes into the full service general contracting business it is today.
